Missionary Training at Prayer Mountain

Last year WTM missionaries were deployed to many different nations in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America, typically spending 4-6 months in their designated nation. Throughout March, at Prayer Mountain for All Nations in Uganda, further training for around 50 international missionaries is taking place. Saturated in the Word, in worship and in prayer, the training seeks to enable each missionary to go deeper into God’s presence in order to capture God’s burden and heart for the nations, the urgency of the hour we are living in and the love God has for oneself and the whole of humanity. Many practical aspects of mission are also being considered and studied, as well as building and strengthening the mission teams. It is hoped that missionaries will be deployed to Taiwan, USA, UK, Austria, Germany, D.R.Congo, Kenya, S.Sudan, Croatia, Jordan and Rwanda during this year.

Reaching French-Speaking Nations

The Mission Begins

Since 2011 WTM Uganda has been working to mobilize leaders to impact French-speaking people. Headed by Dominique Hustinx, the ministry has seen pastors from Kampala take up the call with a goal of first reaching Francophone Africa, then Europe and other French-speaking nations.

Despite the constant attacks against these pastors, including a sickness, a spirit of division and loss of meeting facilities for their churches, those who are working with WTM remain strong in the Lord and united in their goal of raising up missionaries. Meeting several times a week to fast and pray, there is a great hunger and passion for God, and each person carries a vision to see the Word shared with others.

The team hopes to be ready to be deployed by August 2012. They have already received calls from the Congo requesting teams to visit, even though those calling had no idea about the mission to French-speaking nations – they are simply hungry and seeking for change in their lives and homes!

Please keep Dominique and her team in your prayers, asking that the Lord would continue to strengthen and protect them, and that the attacks of the enemy would only make them stronger. Also pray for the provision of the finances needed so that the work can continue.

Awakening Taiwan

In November 2011, WTM General Overseer, Rev. Dr. John Mulinde, along with International Directors and a team of missionaries, were in Taiwan for four week-long ‘City-Wide Awakening Training’ events held in four different cities. In Taipei alone 15,000 people gathered in the central ‘Presidents Square’ to hear the awakening message, with many more reached through the televised broadcast and webstream.

There is a rising movement of God in the nation of Taiwan. Hearts are being stirred and awakened so radically that Rev. Dr. Mulinde and Pr Mark Daniel were invited back to Taiwan a couple of weeks ago for meetings with both spiritual leaders and marketplace leaders. Many more people showed up to these meetings than expected and testimonies abound of the power of God changing the lives of families, workplaces and communities as prayer altars are being established. Praise belongs to our God who is changing a nation before our eyes!
